On May 13, the Zuni Youth Enrichment Project ended its most popular youth sports program – the spring basketball league. 20 teams, 200 7-to-12-year-olds and 44 coaches participated in the eight-week season.
The program was supported by the Nike N7 Fund, the New Mexico Department of Health, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, and the Zuni Public School District.
