Brittny Seowtewa joined ZYEP’s staff in March 2021 as our Food Sovereignty Specialist. She brings a strong background in culinary arts, and has an amazing talent for creating Zuni traditional dishes with a modern twist. Brittny also has an eye for edible plants and often forages for ingredients in Zuni fields and forests. Brittny is an essential part of ZYEP’s food sovereignty efforts and has successfully planned and implemented nutrition sessions for Zuni youth and families, impacting over 700 Zuni youth per year.
